Movie Babble

In a remote Estonian village, three children from the city are forced to spend the summer on their grandfather’s farm.

Determined to make them see the simple beauty of country living, he sets them to work, only to have the little scumbags accidentally set loose his prized and thoroughly mistreated cow.

Now they have only 24 hours to find and milk the rogue bovine before its exponentially expanding udders explode and unleash the Lactopalypse.

To make matters worse, a decrepit, disgraced farmer and his chainsaw-wielding gang is also determined to catch the animal, with murder on his mind. Why does he hate cows so much?

On their epic journey, our heroes must face festival hippies, vicious forest dwellers, strange woodland sprites, heavy-metal rockers and other dangers commonly found in the Estonian countryside.

Based on a popular Estonian web series, THE OLD MAN MOVIE is most outrageous, crowd-pleasing stop-motion comedy in years.

Nina Hoss, Lars Eidinger and Marthe Keller in My Little Sister

“THE OLD MAN MOVIE is half FRITZ THE CAT, half SHAWN THE SHEEP, a bawdy stop-motion delight that goes right up to the line of acceptable good taste, then stomps all over it with dung-covered boots … Gloriously unhinged and terrifically transgressive.”

Richard Whittaker, Austin Chronicle

“THE OLD MAN MOVIE lives up to the hype and is the wild 88-minute ride of unhinged, sidesplitting stop-motion silliness it promises to be. It’s immature, it’s crass, it’s vulgar, and it’s all the better for it … batshit insanity.”

Sean Coates, MovieBabble

“A mix of riotously ridiculous and quirkily disturbing”

Rich Cline, Shadows on the Wall

“A wild and hilarious adventure”

Nicolas Soto, ButWhyTho?

“Stop-motion excellence from Estonia... enough bonkers greatness for any fan of cult cinema.

Bruce Purkey, Deepest Dream

“Wallace and Gromit by way of heavy blotter acid with a dose of magic mushrooms.

Jeffrey Bracey, Comic Crusaders

“A mixture of outrageous, outlandish, and wildly WTF.

Richard Gary, Indie Horror Films
