Pre-Order Monica on Blu-Ray

After releasing HANNAH in 2018, 606 Distribution is proud to continue its association with director/writer Andrea Pallaoro with this masterful story of identity, reconciliation, truthfulness and love.

“Packing a mighty emotional punch… a quiet, heartfelt, and beautifully nuanced drama that feels unique and universal, featuring what will surely go down as one of the best performances of 2023.”

Peter Sobczynski

“Monica is a profoundly moving and rich film about identity, acceptance, and forgiveness. Trace Lysette and Patricia Clarkson give marvellously rich and subtle performances…

Pallaoro’s film is a masterpiece of restraint that allows the story to blossom.

Monica is a nuanced piece of cinema and one that is about the dignity of finding completeness in oneself in what was thought lost.”

Nadine Whitney
Alliance of Women Film Journalists

“Lysette delivers an astonishing, masterclass performance as Monica”

Robert Kojder
Flickering Myth

“Monica is a beautiful and deeply affecting film, and one that will leave you thinking for weeks.

Buoyed by meticulous directing and cinematography, Lysette is the clear standout of the movie, delivering a performance that should land her firmly in the Awards Season conversation and on the list of every casting director in Hollywood.

Perhaps, even an Oscar nomination is in her future.”
